With the historic renovation of its crown jewel—Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre—the University of Rochester needed to generate excitement, curiosity and interest to drive future ticket sales and increase donations to Eastman School of Music. To animate this initiative, a celebration concert open to the community was performed by the elite Eastman Philharmonia. I led a team in creating a full-blown advertising and marketing campaign for the event, including creative strategy, art direction and photo direction with Kurt Brownell. The results were powerful and set the stage for success: Every seat in the house was full, and attendance for future concerts increased along with regional donations to the school.
